If you're interested, this is what I've been up to recently (and not so recently). And if you're really interested, why not sign up for my newsletter? One client described it as ''like a drug – I can't get enough''. She's feeling much better now, though.

Writing a new brand into existence

GeeneeGeenee, a completely new online brand for home exchange holidays, has just launched its website. And I wrote all the words.

We've been working together on their tone of voice, and their enormous website, since May this year. And the results are pretty terrific, I think. (But then I would.) You can read the full story in my portfolio section.

PlayStation Keyboard Guitar commended by Campaign

Campaign DigitalPlayStation's online Keyboard Guitar game, for which I wrote the copy, has been Highly Commended at the Campaign Digital Awards. Good news for me, for Inferno, and for digital agency 10:00AM, who asked me in on the words side. Interminable rock solos all round, I think.

D&AD Annual out now

D&AD poster 2005Last night saw the launch of the new D&AD Annual for 2006, with a very civilised party at Mother. It turns out to have been a bit of a bumper year for D&AD, with 24,000 entries from 59 countries. So although I didn't secure a pencil this time round, the fact that my poster got in the book at all is pretty pleasing.

As you may know, the only way to get hold of the Annual these days is to be a Member or Associate Member of D&AD. So join up now and get hold of the book. There's some terrific work in there. (I think you'll especially enjoy page 281.)

I'm on the Land Securities copywriting roster

Land SecuritiesYou hear a lot about ad agency rosters and design rosters, but rather less about copywriting rosters. So it's nice to see a company on the scale of Land Securities taking writing seriously enough to create a specific roster of preferred suppliers.

And it's even nicer to be on it. Which, after a brief selection process, I am.

I have actually been working on Land Securities projects for a little while, with designers Radford Wallis. (They're on the corresponding design roster, which includes other great design names like The Chase, Hat-trick, Williams Murray Hamm and GBH.) So I'm really chuffed that this relatively casual relationship has now blossomed into something more official. They've made an honest writer of me.
