Orange leadership book proves a hit

I learn from my design partners at Purpose that the Orange leadership book I wrote for them has proved such a hit with the client that Orange has ordered a reprint. Not only that, but this time they asked for four times as many copies. Must be doing something right.

A little mention in Design Week

Nice to see my name in Design Week this week. The story is about SoCo, the new development in Edinburgh that's been branded by 300million.

As you can read in my portfolio section, I've been working with 300million to create advertising, posters and promotional hoardings for the site. The only thing is, there's nothing there. As you can see from this example, my solution was to answer one riddle with another.

Now I'm an illustrator too

I was given a fantastic brief recently - to come up with some ideas for Howies' forthcoming range of t-shirts. They got especially excited about one idea - so much so that they quite forgot themselves and asked me to illustrate it as well. In fact, there are no words on it at all - shock, horror.

What's the idea? Well, that would be telling. I shall keep Howies' powder dry until the range is on sale, but you can be sure I'll be publicising this new sideline of mine here and in my newsletter.
