Punny names

Perhaps it's being called Mike Reed, but thinking about shop names (see last post) got me thinking about equally entertaining people's names.

Like my wife's schoolfriend, Louise Rolls: eternally Lou Rolls. Or her other friend Amanda Lynn Grant. Which sounds like some sort of musical bursary.

On a slightly different, but no less valid, tack, there was my friend Nick's Philosophy tutor: Mr Ponder.
