This was the project that launched our close, ongoing partnership with ‘global boutique design studio’ Mucho.
Rob Duncan, Creative Director at Mucho’s San Francisco office, is also Education Co–Chair of the SF division of the AIGA. And he asked us to help create some posters for them.
They needed an idea to promote a series of three lectures: one by Paula Scher and Natasha Jen at Pentagram, one by Pixar director Mark Andrews, and one by Robert Brunner – chief designer of Beats by Dr Dre, and founding partner of Ammunition.
After a bit of playing around with those three enticing propositions, the headline just sort of fell together on the page. Mucho loved it, and ended up printing the two versions you see here.
