This unique print project celebrated the stretch of property at the corner of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street, in London’s West End. The joint owners – Frogmore and Land Securities – call this area ‘Oriana’.
The boxed pack included a set of booklets – one for each building in Oriana.
As well as a photograph of the building, each booklet contained a brief history of the property – often dating back a long way.
And when laid out side by side, the separate booklets came together like a jigsaw, forming a panorama of the streetscape.
We developed the idea with Hat-trick, and wrote all the copy for the booklets, as well as the accompanying introduction.
Digging into the history of this famous chunk of the capital was a great pleasure – as was opening the finished box and seeing the set in its full glory for the first time.
